William Ravenscroft Stephen 2 Mar 1826 - 28-Jun-1898 in Darnum, wed 1853 to Mary Ann Sarah Walkden at Christ Church CofE, St Kilda, and lived at St Kilda and then at Caulfield. He became Head of Treasury when the Victorian Government was formed. He came to Australia on a Government mission, on the Great Britain 12/11/1852, fellow passengers included his future wife.
