Beloved husband for 46 years of Ardath 'Deede' Starkloff Cole; dearest father of Maria Chittenden Cole Warner (Douglas), Catherine Louise Cole Johnson (Kenneth), Wendy Farwell Cole Dixon (Dennis), Mary Crunden Cole Gryska (Peter), Caroline Bentley Cole Boldt (James) and the late Sarah Starkloff Cole; brother of the late Wallace H. Cole, Jr.; grandfather of twelve, great-grandfather of one; brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and a dear friend to many.Services: The family will receive friends at THE LUPTON CHAPEL, 7233 Delmar Blvd., University City, on Wednesday, August 16, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The interment at Bellefontaine Cemetery will be private.
